• Ideal for machine parks: only authorized employees gain access to specific equipment thanks to the electronic key reader. The device is activated for people with the correct iButton key.

Note: This is a 1-Wire solution. To use it, you need the Loxone 1-Wire Extension or a similar 1-Wire device.

Usage

When the electronic key makes contact with the key reader, a signal is sent. This signal can be read via a Loxone 1-Wire Extension.

Mounting

• Mounting options: against a wall, on a panel, or recessed.
• For recessed mounting: depth of 5 mm and diameter of 20 mm.
• Waterproof, but not suitable for extreme conditions. For outdoor applications, the "Electronic Key Reader Outdoor" is recommended.

Connection Instructions

• Connection via Loxone 1-Wire Extension:
  • White wire: "DATA"
  • Gray wire: "GND"
  • Yellow wire: common grounding of both LEDs
  • Green = green LED, red = red LED
• Both LEDs can be powered with 24V DC, thanks to integrated resistors.
• Only one iButton reader can be connected per 1-Wire Extension.
