The 1-Wire Extension enables the integration of temperature sensors and the iButton access system into the Loxone system. Connected to the Miniserver, the 1-Wire Extension offers the following benefits:

Ideal Wiring Topologies

Bus topology without branches
The most suitable wiring topology. Enables a reach of up to 350m.

Bus topology with short branches
Provides a comparable result to the topology without branches. Maximum reach is 300m.

Other Wiring Topologies

Bus topology with long branches
Limited recommendation. Cable length up to 100m is possible.

Star topology
Suitable for small installations where all sensor cables converge at one point. Total length maximum 100m.
